Purpose/Mission Statement: ENCA exists for the purpose of providing quality Christian education for parents who want to see their children committed to the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. Our goal is to integrate the Word of God in all the academic disciplines taught. Colossians 1:28 - Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. |

School Closure Reminder- School will be closed 1/2 day Wednesday, November 5th and all day Thursday and Friday, November 6th and 7th. Preschool will be open. If daycare is needed for K thru 6th grade, you must sign up at the front desk by Friday, October 31st. The Cafeteria will be closed that day so everyone must bring their own lunch. Also, Dance on November 5th will be canceled because of 1/2 day.

CHRISTMAS IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER! Parents, our music department has begun preparations to share the Good News of Christmas with you and your families. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade Program on Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m. and the 3rd through 8th grade program on December 5th at 6:30 p.m. We are in need of assistance with set design and costumes. If you are blessed with artistic or sewing gifts, please call Kathy at 236-0857. Let's honor Jesus with an absolutely glorious production for all. |

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. If you are interested in supporting this ministry, please pick up a brochure at the Front Desk and deliver the boxes back to the Front Desk before Nov. 16.

We are looking for some good volunteers to help out with daycare at the school next week while the staff is gone to our MACSA Conference. If you would like to make some extra money and could help us out next week, please call the school office at 684-4983. We would need help all day Thursday and Friday and if you could help out in the afternoon on Wednesday that would be great too! We only have 9 children signed up so far for daycare for those days. |

Library News: Thank you to Kathy Benson for donating the book "My Dad, John McCain" to the library. If you are interested in checking this book out, please take a trip to our library down in the pre-school/kindergarten wing. |

IDENT-A-KID Program: Will be at Eagle's Nest Christian Academy & Daycare on December 10, 2008 to PHOTOGRAPH, FINGERPRINT, WEIGHT and MEASURE children. Participation in the program is at the individual parent's option. A small fee will be charged and the parents will be provided with a laminated wallet sized ID card with information about their child. An application envelope with additional information about the IDENT-A-KID Program will be sent home with the children about one week before the program date. Fingerprints and child information are completely confidential and ARE NOT kept on file or in a database.
